Bose portable music system not working

Good afternoon lads,I have a bose sound touch portable music system,worked well back in Aus.but now can't get it to work here.have restored it to factory settings.tried many ways but no joy.each time I click on the bose wifi it it is ok but it then knocks out my wifi. have emailed Bose in bangkok but they were no use at all

There are many YouTube videos on how to do this.
I've found that with most wifi connected devices that have a companion app they will need a complete reset of both the unit itself and the one in the app.
Then, with the unit turned on and in wifi search mode, start searching with your phone wifi. You do need to be signed out of your house wifi for this step, otherwise you'll never, ever, connect the unit to the app on the phone.
I've had similar experiences with my wifi dashcam and the earbuds.
Your phone needs to be disconnected from any other wifi for this to work.
As to how it would be able to 'knock out' your wifi, this is something I have never come across before.

Afternoon Vincent well have spent another hour trying but no joy.the bose wifi appears in my connections so I click on it it starts then reads no wifi connection? So annoying

Or is it, "Connected, no internet". ? If so, go ahead and use the app to set it up. This means your are connected to the wifi hotspot of the Bose system.
Once you complete the initial setup between phone and system, you can exit and continue to get the system itself connected to your home wifi.
It's a 2 step thing.

I get the bose wifi in my settings I click on it it starts up then says no internet connection? But my wifi has znd still is works fine

Will suggest you check your connection to Bose account, Aus and Thailand may have different parameters. I'm not familiar with how Bose does things, I'm just happy that the car stereo works. It's an old car that still has the cassette player, and my hearing has been compromised for years so I don't bother with higher end sound systems.
Hope you figure it out eventually.
