Shouldn't be too long. I suspect the meeting I witnessed yesterday, was possibly being held by the new incumbents.
Did you notice any changes going on with the wine/liquor store?caller wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2025 8:49 pm I went into Bluport earlier, as I had a few things to get, including from the supermarket, I needn't have bothered! All bar one single line of freezers have been switched and sealed off, and the one remaining line just had what was left from the rest. It faces the fresh meat section, which is empty. There is less shelving, less of everything and I couldn't buy anything I needed - some tin foil, smelly stuff for the bathroom and blueberries. Well they had a few packs of those, but I didn't like the look of them, so I exited without buying anything.
It's been a while now since Gourmet Market were involved and I just hope that whoever is moving in to replace them, does so soon. I have been using TOPS/VM in the meantime.
This is also what I was told, by several different employees. (I asked several, just in case one was misinformed or just saying what they thought I wanted to hear but they all consistently said the same thing).HarryVardon wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 1:41 pm I went into BluPort today. I asked what was happening with the Gourmet Market and was told they are redesigning it. There is no change of owner and the work will take about 3 months to complete. The wine/liquor store is still open. They sell fresh meat and vegetables but many of the shelves have been closed off or are empty. The restaurant inside is also closed.
Based on what myself and others have been told (including, but not limited to, @HarryVardon) no-one is moving in to replace them, it's just a redesign and remodeling.caller wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2025 8:49 pm I went into Bluport earlier, as I had a few things to get, including from the supermarket, I needn't have bothered!
