Spurs made a significant step towards the final last night with a solid, yet somewhat disappointing 2nd half, display. United on easy street it looks like after a third game in a row playing against ten men (diabolical red card given yesterday... it was Hojlund... that's not a 'goal scoring opportunity').

Ange has never lost to United while at Spurs in 5 games. All set up nicely for heartbreak in the final should we get there.

The fact two relegation battlers (were the other teams not soooo bad this year) might be in the final of the Europa shows how strong the prem is.

This is the stadium spurs will be looking to make their 2nd European final in 6 years next week. 8270 capacity. Artificial turf. Their entire town's population could fit into Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with plenty of space to spare. This whole scenario is ripe for a Tottenham bottle-job for the headlines...

BB should send that to his mate and do some fact checking... I'd be interested to know the truth.

Six years in this neck of the woods and the most I've paid for a pint was £9.50, which was for a Beavertown IPA in a posh part of London. I was devastated...

Couldn't find any menu for chips in Tottenham stadium but the 'pound a chip' thing did make me chuckle a little. We know it's expensive on matchday but a pound a chip is one of the funnier exaggerations I've heard. Below is chicken and chips in the stadium from last year, £7.99.

Yup, I think they're about 1st division level, maybe relegation battlers in the championship.

Yes, they've done that a few times this season.

Today's game, following the riot (celebration???) threats, was subjected to very tight security. Basically, Leeds fans were banned from everywhere. To compensate, Home Park was opened at 9am this morning, serving food and drink to Leeds fans.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

In other news, Harry Kane was a minute away from securing his first major trophy today! RB Leipzig scored an equaliser in the dying stages. Unless Bayern lose their next 2 and Leverkusen win their remaining three by a difference of 10 goals a game... Harry is in for his first major silverware.

The curse, it seems, is lifted. This is good news for England :D

2nd best player in the world behind the insanely talented, possible 17 year-old ballon d'or winner, Lamine Yamal.

Seems a decent club to be fair does Plymouth. Shame they've not quite made that push to the prem.

A friendly, family club in the main.

Without a sugar daddy, they can not afford the prem. They will remain a tier 2/3 team until that happens. They can barely afford to compete in the 2nd tier until something special happens, as the last 2 seasons have proved.

I notice Paris FC have been promoted to Ligue 1 after close to half a century outside it. Their trip to PSG and vice versa won't take long next season.

Paris FC and PSG stadium proximity below. :D

My friend replied with an AI summary (you'll understand that more than me) of Tottenham Stadium in his defence. It seems £1 a chip was an exaggeration - AI suggests it about 90p a chip.

He says his pints were £14 each  . I travelled to watch the footie at Nakhon Pathom last week for less than £15 including travel, admission and refreshments.
