Football (not Premier League)
Re: Football (not Premier League)
Jeez, this game is like watching a lament to the death of football. It is awful. And as BB said above, the pundits are suitably sombre for a such a dire perfornace. The 2nd half has to better, surely?

Well done the spuds! But what a pile of poo that game was. I'm not even sure they were the better team, but it's all about winning. Thank God there was no extra time.

Re: Football (not Premier League)
Lindelof getting yellow carded on the bench was probably his best performance this season!!
Probably a small mercy that we are not in Europe next season to be humiliated by the likes of Limerick Town

Re: Football (not Premier League)
Tottenham fans needed this. United have won shitloads, even recently when they've been a bit crap like us. We've been waiting so bloody long.

Re: Football (not Premier League)
In a game of mediocrity the worst team managed to win - not sure what that says about either team, and I know that Spurs fans won’t really care, but they can hardly claim this as a great victory, more like grab and run (or is that won)?
Re: Football (not Premier League)
That game was awful. Neither team could string more than 3 or 4 passes together. I honestly see Thailand teams, full of ex-Euro Football has-beens who play much better football - OK, they're playing at a much lower standard, but at least they can still pass a ball, and their team mates know how to position themselves in a space to receive it.
As for the goal - what a shambles.
European Football showpiece - you're 'aving a larf
That was not worth sacrificing a couple of hours of beauty sleep for.

In the two years Ange has been with us, this is the first time I've seen him park the bus. Worked... The open top bus parade tonight goes right by me house. Probably watch it from there, not sure I can handle the stadium antics again, I'm still recovering from Wednesday.

Will there be a Champions Parade through Hua Hin, or does that only happen when its a decent team that wins something?

Re: Football (not Premier League)
For anybody wanting to join the above event, the parade schedule is:
Schedule
- 16.00 hrs. Gather at Wat Wang Klai Kangwon
- 17.00 hrs. Move through Chiva Som School and turn around at Nong Kae
- 18.00 hrs. Procession enters Market Village
- 19.00 hrs. to 21.00 hrs. Social gathering and photo ops to celebrate the championship together, Red Devil style,
* Everyone can join the event, no charge*
I'm not sure about the 'Red Devil' style celebration. I always thought 'Red Devil' referred to Man Utd.
