Well he's certainly not a "dirty" player, but he's stuffed his chances on going on England's (3 Test) Tour of Argentina as he's facing a 2 match ban (reduced from 3).404cameljockey wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 7:08 am Crazy. You can hope that if he had manage to wrap around the neck he would have had the sense to release immediately, but I think he's having a bit of trouble returning to play and bad decisions accompany that.

A show of faith I imagine.Wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso will go on tour with England this summer despite being suspended for the two-Test series against Argentina.
The 22-year-old has been banned for three matches - one of which he will be excused when he completes World Rugby's 'tackle school' programme - for a high shot on France A fly-half Antoine Hastoy in an England XV's 26-24 defeat on Saturday.
He will only be available to coach Steve Borthwick for England's match against the United States on 19 July, having to sit out the games against Argentina on the two previous weekends.

A 2-match ban which neatly covers the 2-test 'tour' of Argentina, leaving him free to play against the USA, if selected...

Re: The Rugby Thread
Another full weekend of Rugby - of course with the British & Irish Lions opening their Tour of Australia against Western Force
On the International front, there's also South Africa vs The Barbarians, Japan vs The Maori All Blacks and the "U20 World Championship" beginning Sunday (full details @ https://www.world.rugby/u20/en).
If that wasn't enough, we're also spoilt with the French Top 14 Final with Toulouse taking on Bordeaux Begles
Will be taking full advantage of any "Catch-up" available next week that's for sure!!
Details of KO Times etc. @ https://www.wheresthematch.com/live-rugby-union-on-tv/

Re: The Rugby Thread
Well, it was a big win for the British and Irish Lions at the end of the day, but the Lions are far from "Clicking". Silly penalty count against them in the first 10-20 minutes, loose play and collecting the ball at the re-start was a joke! They were lucky not to have conceded more than a single try in that first half and Western Force can be feel deservedly aggrieved.
Seriously pissed off that Tomos Williams could be looking at an end of tour injury after a cracking (2 try) display.... Absolutely gutting, but hoping for the best.
The Force at the end of the day are the weakest franchise in Super Rugby and were without a couple of players not released from the Australian Squad...The likes of the Red's, Brumbies and the Waratahs could be a different proposition dependant on how many (if any) Joe Schmidt is going to release over the next 2 or 3 weeks.
With regards to the HHF/Superbru League, I'm going to post things when we get to the actual Test Matches - around 3 weeks from now.

"Tour-ending" injury perhaps? Yes, would be a shame.
Otherwise a fair report, with result as expected and required!

Recently confirmed that Tomos Williams will play no further part and has already left the tour party. Truly gutted for him. Scotland's Ben White flown in from New Zealand where Scotland have just arrived on tour.404cameljockey wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 6:20 am "Tour-ending" injury perhaps? Yes, would be a shame.

Re: The Rugby Thread
Eeek! I have an appointment to see my consultant tomorrow at 11.05. I've just noticed that the 2nd test between Eng and India starts at 11 tomorrow, as does the next British Lions game in Australia! Nightmare, something has to give. No prizes for guessing which has been sacrificed...
Wales have now lost half of their Lions contingent through injury, that's really bad luck.
(Sorry, Pietro, couldn't resist!)

The saddest thing this tour, is that Wales may lose probably the longest standing record in Lions' (if not Rugby) history. Up to this point (when Wales joined in 1889) Wales have been the only "British Lions Nation" to have have provided at least 1 player in each and every Test Match the Lions have played.
Come on Jac.... Get in there!!
