I'm looking for a car detailer doing a bit more than the regular soi car wash. I am looking for proper cleaning and polishing. Most car washes around my are only do the basics which does not mean real polishing. I'm not looking for ceramic coating or anything like that. Just regular deep wash and decent polish with real wax. Not the liquid stuff they put for shine which last for short time and isn't really protecting the paint. I have tried MV in the basement, not too impressed but that was a long time ago. My impression of places like that is that they get so much business that they sometimes do not take the time and care each car really needs.
Any suggestions guys?

I think that is Ceramic Pro. Very expensive and imho only good to this kind of treatment(Ceramic Coating) when car is new. I believe the price is around 20-30k. I'm looking for more regular polish with Turtle Wax or similar.Martinoo wrote:There is a shop just before the airport tunnel on the way to Cha am

I’ve always been happy to clean my own cars, almost from my first day of driving some 55 years ago - I think I’ve got the knack of it now, the only thing is that it used to be easy to reach the roof of the car whereas now I need a small set of steps since SUV’s became so popular!!

I had the same issue but always though it related to my increased size of the midriff, but this is a much more gentle explantion, thanks DBDannie Boy wrote: ↑Sun Jul 20, 2025 5:04 pm I’ve always been happy to clean my own cars, almost from my first day of driving some 55 years ago - I think I’ve got the knack of it now, the only thing is that it used to be easy to reach the roof of the car whereas now I need a small set of steps since SUV’s became so popular!!

Looks and sounds impressive - no mention of prices - probably not cheap but maybe VFM - do you intend going?

We have been there once, wife her car, somewhere last year. Not expensive from what I recall
