Condo for 3 months

Post by Jackes »

Hi, I'm coming to Hua Hin on a 90 day Non O visa in October. I'm looking for accommodation until the end of the year while I go through the process of applying for the one year extension, could anyone recommend a suitable condo of similar and can anyone tell me what type of proof of address I will need to show immigration. Thanks.

Good luck with that, I’ve been trying for a couple of months to rent for 3 months from November. The agencies are very slow in replying and some say minimum rental period is 12 months. Received email couple of days ago telling me I am too early and they will contact me in October. I’m after a particular area near Khao Takiab beach but had no luck so far. I have been offered one and asked for more details but no reply after a week.

This is the beginning of high season, so yes, it'll be a challenge as demand is highest from Nov to Feb. Have been looking around myself and even now, some places are full because people book them for a year at a time. Additionally, you'll be paying a premium by using an agent instead of contacting the places directly.

On the upside, there are hundreds of condo blocks in Hua Hin, it all depends on your budget and where you want to be.

Maybe AIRBNB can offer a solution?
