Coming out for holiday in the next few weeks, afriend in HH has asked me to bring some goodies out.
Can I put canned goods in my suitcase or will they explode?

IMHO Ayam Brand Baked Beans are as good as any in the UK (can't guarantee they will have same explosive properties). I've never found any acceptable alternative to Branston Pickle.
I have bought Ayam beans in Tesco & Big C in Udon but never looked for them in Tesco in HH - if suitable, saves hauling them out from UK.
Picture of them can be found here:

Yes, they have them in Tesco HH, and you would be hard pushed to tell the difference.JimboPSM wrote:IMHO Ayam Brand Baked Beans are as good as any in the UK I have bought Ayam beans in Tesco & Big C in Udon but never looked for them in Tesco in HH - if suitable, saves hauling them out from UK.

I had some Ayam Brand beans about an hour - not as good as the real thing (but acceptable). Sadly, no sign of any aftershocks yet.IMHO Ayam Brand Baked Beans are as good as any in the UK (can't guarantee they will have same explosive properties).
