BEANS IN MY SUITCASE!!

Coming out for holiday in the next few weeks, afriend in HH has asked me to bring some goodies out.

Can I put canned goods in my suitcase or will they explode?

Affirmative.

Previously I have requested friends making the trip over here to bring a can or two of Heinz baked beans, always they have arrived intact. (The Cans!).

Glass jars of food products, if propably secured, will also survive the journey.

I am sure with Tesco's in HH, you would be able to buy Heinz Baked Beans from there.
If not the guy at the HH Ham and Bacon would either have them or know where to get Beans & Branston from locally. May be worth a try

IMHO Ayam Brand Baked Beans are as good as any in the UK (can't guarantee they will have same explosive properties). I've never found any acceptable alternative to Branston Pickle.

I have bought Ayam beans in Tesco & Big C in Udon but never looked for them in Tesco in HH - if suitable, saves hauling them out from UK.

Yes, they have them in Tesco HH, and you would be hard pushed to tell the difference.

I had some Ayam Brand beans about an hour - not as good as the real thing (but acceptable). Sadly, no sign of any aftershocks yet.

Big Boy, I thought you said no signs of any aftershocks???????????? Ayam????????? Maybe the aftershock is verbal with these beans.... Only joking mate...
