the live performance by Joe at woodstock in 1969 is legendary, he is absolutely off his face and gives a performance that will never be forgotten!

Does anyone remember a group named "Redbone"? I think they were British, although I've been told there was an American group of the same name that came later

Pete, only song that I can remember from them is Witch Queen of New Orleans

Have never hear of a UK band of the same name

Favourite album to play at present is the Clash Singles. 17 Tracks and all worth listening to

This is probably not the most appropriate place for this link, but it's music (after a fashion) and it's what I'm listening to now, so...

Does anyone listen to any modern music??? I'm 43 and probably the biggest Zappa fan on the planet but it gets boring listening to the same music that i heard 25 years ago. Are there any system of a down fans out there??? Rage against the machine, audioslave, faithless(the best live band in the world by a country mile). Mika is surprisingly good too.
There's a lot of guitar based bands coming out of the UK at the mo,some good, some not so good. Well worth investigating though

List a few of em here, recently got some Kings Of Leon and Reindeer Section as recommended on this thread ... always looking for new artists and tunes!

If you just want names to try,the most recent UK media flavour of the months have been Pigeon Detectives, The Enemy, The Twang, Fratellis, Biffy Clyro. All have released some OK tunes.

Personal reccomendations are Funeral by Arcade Fire + Neon Bible by Arcade Fire + Through The Window Pane by Guillemots.

Anyway,
Just looked at the DVD of AC/DC with Bon Scott. All 1.5 hours of it.
Now it's Lad Zep 2.
I'm ready to step out of the house now

Yeah. Thanks for correcting me.
Was it "Airplane" or "Starship" that had Grace Slick as lead singer?
Maybe both?

Edit:
Jefferson Airplane.
