Hilarious Security Glitch at APEC

Over $140 million dollars have been spent on security in Sydney for the APEC meeting, only to be broken by TV Comedy show with a fake car convoy being able to get within 10 meters on George Bush's hotel.
They got through two major security checks aparantley with no ID passes.
At present all of the crew, cast and drivers are still in Jail.

If I had not seen it I would not have believed it, but here is a clip from tonights 6'oclock news

By now this will be on all world news programs around the globe.

Also here is a previous show that they done before the arrival of bush. It goes to show just how gullable people can be, not just the public, but police and government employes as well

heard all about this earlier & have just watched the 2 clips. like most of these types of shows the funny element is as you say, that people can be so gullible.
there is also a dangerous side to it all.
if a film crew & actors can get this close to a major security breach without being at all professionally trained in that respect, how easy would it be for the terrorists etc to perpetrate this type of action?
although it was funny & made me cringe,i'm sure there will be a few asses kicked after the dust settles & a full investigation is done

There will no doubt be some serious are kicking to be done. After putting up a large exclusion zone to stop this sort of problem happening a bunch of comedians get within 10 meters of the hotel.
If it had been terrorists no one would have stood a chance.

Yep, I had a good chuckle at this too. But the actors all got arrested. If they'd been shot to shite, would anyone be saying 'serves 'em right?' Just a thought.

I think we need people like this, so that weaknesses are shown up. What are they going to be accused of 'dented pride, 'embarrassing the professionals'? I know - 'making fools of the people in receipt of taxpayers money to keep everyone safe.' They should be given a medal, not put in jail.

I heard a reporter from the UK say that they were so lucky that it did not happen in London as it would have most likely been the case.
All around that hotel there are snipers on the roof, so they can all count themselves lucky that it did not happen.

What do you get for $160,000,000 in security? A comedy gag and with a lot of wankers. If they had called in Agents 86 and 99 to organise the security they would have got the same result - a comedy gag and with a lot of wankers.
