Thanks and a further question.

Thank you to all those who responded to my introduction I will use that information to further explore the possibilities of teaching in and around HH. During my 6 months stay in HH 2006/7 I tried and failed to find a model shop either in HH or BKK. I took some model making materials with me. Being a sad old git I make plastic model aircraft. Airfix etc. I had to have stuff posted from UK at outrageous cost and then was hammered with Thai import duty and VAT. Any Suggestions please other than the obvious GET A LIFE.

A friend of mine has a real interest in planes and wants some models to hang in his bar, but as yet has had no luck in finding any. Saw some in Hua Hin in a new resturant once and was told the guy bought them on ebay!

Many years ago there used to be one on the second floor of WTC in BKK.

I will be going to WTC next week or shortly thereafter - will check it out & let you know.

Hi there mate. I came to your place a few times to fish. I came a couple of times with Bob my pal who resides in Bangkok. I was the one in the panama hat. I would be very grateful for any info re the possible BKK model shop.
