Smart House Village???

Post by Bushido »

Hi there guys,

still looking around for developments to purchase in December.

i have come across the Smart House Village 2 development and they look promising. I'm obviousley going to go out and have a good look round in Dec but wondered if anyone on here has any experience of living there or has anyone bought one of these houses?

Thanks

When there last month, I was shown 2 developments where they have or are building Smart houses. In both instances they seemed to be well finished, and presented value for money.

I am no expert, but was quite impressed with what I saw.

cheers Big Boy - they look well finished in the photos, can't wait to go out and actually see the development. How long does it take to get to the sites from Hua Hin centre?

I'm not really sure how long it took, we were being given a tour of various properties, but I would say everything we looked at was within 10 to 15 minutes of Hua Hin Centre by car.

I live 500m from Smart house 2 .if you cut down soi 88 instead of the palau road you can be sipping a beer in town within 10 minutes of starting your engine providing you know where to find a parking space these days .

Smart House 2. Price of land looks very expensive to me, especially in the current climate. About 6.5 Million per Rai!

Know someone who bought on the 1st phase, land was small so he bought an extra plot of land.
He seems happy with it, but they are basic finishes wise, ie: no frills etc.

But he hasn't complained.

Whether phase 2 have whacked the price up, as 6.5m per rai is ridiculous, especially for the basic house you get on it. That land must have cost 1 -1.5m a rai at most, with the infrastructure etc, maybe 2.5 - 3m a rai selling cost, ie: with profit.

There's a project a bit before that on the right, but wouldn't touch it with a barge pole if I were you. Dodgy developer

Have you looked at Natural Hill in soi 6. Very nice complex and the club house is well worth having a look at.

:)
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

right then finally here in sunny thailand!

been to look at the smart house developements as well as the le vallee developemnt.
Very impressed with the smart house 1 and 2 and seriousley thinking of buying the smaller one as we were impressed with what u get for the money.

Does anyone on this forum own a smart house? If so how has your dealing with the developer been? Also is the rumour true about the golf course being built near to the smart house 2 area?

Thanks

I thought the Smart House 2 development was the one being built near to the already completed Black Mountain golf course, but maybe that is another of their developments? The Smart House 1 has already sold out i think, but they were adding on to it the last time I went there. We liked the houses but it was a little too far out of town on an unlit road for our liking, and the same applies to the one by Black Mountain, but might be ideal for others.
