Mykonos Development

Post by Pagey »

Has anyone looked at or bought in the Mykonos Development ?

I looked briefly when I was there in July as I like the location and I looked at a couple of places in Condo chain in similar location. At the time I wasn't sure of my financial situation so I was looking to start with a studio apartment only at around 1.5 mill.

However, I have decided as I won't be coming as soon as I thought that I will go for a 1 bed apartment. These are around 3 mill and there are some in condo chain which are 2 studios knocked in to one. Therefore Mykonos is now affordable and a lot newer and more modern. Both have direct access to the beach and are around 15-20 mins walk from town.

(It's slightly annoying that I can cross the road and 'buy' a small 1 bed bungalow for 1.6 mill but thats another story been done to death elsewhere).

I will be back late November and will have a better look but any info in advance would be appreciated.

Hi there Jimmy!

The question you asked beats me too?

Mykonos doesn't sound Thai at all. It's more a Greek Name!!!

Proycon : Would you like to expand on 'buyer beware' ?

For others its a development of 3 condo blocks South of town on the opposite side to Market Village with direct access to the beach.

Pagey,
I think it was intended as a humorous reference to the discussion on another thread about a certain Greek property developer in Hua Hin; whether he has any involvement in this Mykonos project I have no idea but you should certainly ask some of the agents about it, or possibly PM JW on here as he should be able to give you more info.

Been popular for many years. Went there in 1974. Caught the boat from pireaus to mykonos and thought it odd as the boat was full of guys with poodles and mexican moustaches. Soon found out what it was all about when we got to super paradise beach.
