I was watching the news the other day and it seems in all the chaos the BKK and surrounding area floods have caused some croc farm up near BKK lost all its big crocs in a mass escape.
There were follow up reports on the next few days of villagers and police showing crocs they had caught or shot. The ones they showed looked big enough to be scary....the worrying bit is they still havent found most of em...
..this is where the late great Steve Irwin would have come in useful....Strewth!
The crocks are free to swim away from captivity when the fences are under water. Happens every year when the rivers are flooding.
There's a lot of illegal crock-farms you only hear about when the fugitives are spotted close to peoples homes.
I seem to recall the rains last year lasting right into late November and was thinking that it was drier this year! I'm sure someone can dig up some facts to show what the truth is...
WL, you’ve had 28.5mm in the last 7 days, according to the Thai Met. Office, which is about 15mm below the 30 year average.
And before anyone asks, I’m at work at this un-godly hour on a Saturday night, (in Lux.) to have the patience to find that out for you!
Been raining about every other night lately and just drizzled this morning. Been 26 in the daytime. Absolutely lovely. Wish it would be like this most of the year!
