Quick update
I have made contact with Gee's sister, Filiz who will hopefully arrive on Monday morning into Bangkok.
The British embassy have been made aware of the Families wishes in regards to Gee,
The family wish Gee to be cremated here in Hua Hin and then transport his ashes home to the uk
Wednesday, is hopefully the planned day for the cremation as long as all arrangements can be made.
As per i will post any updates on this

I am still completely shocked and saddened with this news. I had the good fortune to meet Gee at the Radio station. He was very helpful and kind. I only new him a short time but I know I'm going to miss him for a long long time to come. This tragedy has stunned us. I want to say more but can't find the words.
So sorry
So sorry for the death of Gee as reported here and my condolences to his family and to all who knew him as a friend.
I did not know him at all and though I listen to this station from time to time, I can't tell who is" spinning the records".
Such a death is tragic anywhere, but it seems so much more so for the family of a farang away from the "home country".
We at Stamford lost one of our Swedish students not long ago so I have seen this situation at first hand. And although I have been at hundreds of funerals ( I used to sing funeral Masses several times a week at one point in my singing career) it never gets easier.
I do have one quick question here: this seems to have happened on a stretch of road that I travel every day and just so that I might be more aware as I drive this route. . ..and to say a prayer for Gee along the way, I would like to know where. Was it before the tunnel?

I Have some partially confirmed information.
Gee will be making his way back to Hua Hin on Monday 28th for the last time.
He will be residing at Bo Fai Temple until Wednesday 30th at 4 pm when there will be a service and cremation for Gee
I will confirm these details once i know they are finalised.
As many others this just isn't sinking in...
Gee's family have made a huge gesture at a very difficult time for the
service to be held here in Hua Hin, I personally thank them for this opportunity to say goodbye to a Star !

I haven't had a chance before now to post on this thread (see another new thread for the reason) but was also shocked and saddened by the loss of Gee. Others have already described him better than I can as they knew him better, but we have lost a genuine guy who pursued his own way and his passion, music.

Any one wishing to attend a service this evening are welcome to, this will be at Bo Fai temple from 730 until around 9pm this will be the second of three (Thai style)
Tomorrow the final service which i think will take up most of the day, and cremation will take place at 4 pm at the same Bo Fai temple.
