Condolences

Post by Chas »

Like many of you I only knew Dave through this forum where he seemed an active, friendly, intelligent and helpful poster.
Condolences and prayers.
I will try to make it to the funeral services.

I knew Dave over many years here in HH. His passing is a dreadful loss to the community. My thoughts and those of my wife go out to his family, Oe and Nat. Mention should be made of Buksida, his family and the many friends who have been comforting Oe and Nat over the past two days.
RIP Monsta.

That are terrible news!

I had the honor to enjoy a couple of drinks with this fine guy some weeks ago!

May he rest in peace!

A poignant 24 hour tribute via HHAD after the initial shock of the message on the screen was absorbed.

Like many others, my only knowledge of the guy was as a member of this forum. Clearly a much loved man.

My condolences to all who knew him.

RIP.

Just got back to Hua Hin from UK less than an hour ago. I'm shocked and very saddened to hear the news. Dave was a wonderful guy & a true character & will leave a big hole in all of our lives, particularly those of Oe, his family & Buksi & his many friends. Condolences to his family & friends. Wherever you are Dave, I'm sure there's non-stop soul music. Rest in peace.

I can only echo all the sentiments expressed above and be thinking of all those who knew Dave better than we did. Just tragic.

I only met Dave 5 times, and can only speak as I found him.

To me Dave was a quiet, shy man. Whenever he spoke, I got the impression that he wasn't shooting from the hip (even after a few beers), there was always a lot of deep thought put in to whatever he said.

My family and I enjoyed our last couple of hours in Thailand with Dave and Oe in the Happy Toro Bar during our last visit. It just seems incredible that we will never see him again.

My family and I send our sincere condolences to those that he has left behind.

Dave was a good, true friend. We are still in deep shock, the news hasn't really sunk in yet. Dave will leave a huge gap in our lives. Hua Hin will not be the same without him.

Our thoughts are with Oe, Nat, Daves Mum, his brother Tim, Martin and his family.

Oe has some good friends in Hua Hin they need to be strong for her and Nat.

If there is anything we can do from here (UK) then just PM me.

RIP. Dr Dave, we will miss our very drunken and very late nights out. May your troubles now be at ease.
