Sorry Guys, I guess I am a bit biased. on my first visit to HH I strolled into Toro for no other reason than it was "Next in line", but met a BG there whom I have been seeing (when I can) ever since. Whenever I do make it Back to HH i actually stay with her at a share house where many of the other girls that work Toro also reside. What most people seem to miss is that these girls are real people, wtih real feelings, trying to eek out an existence, unfortunatley, the only way they can. Outside of the bar environment we all have a great time playing cards, drinking laughing, etc. Its a pitty that more vistiors to HH (and Tahiland for that matter) don't see these girls as Humans, not just a peice of meat. My friend is trying to better herself by going to school on weekends, which I really admire. She does it tough, but still has a vision for the future.
I hear many stories in these forums about Falangs been fleeced of their cash, but not once has my girl ever asked for any money. I gladly give her what I can knowing that it may make her life a little easier, and it might mean one less fat, stinky, drunken asshole that she has to go home with.

there.... spleen vented, I feel better !!

Hey guys, when you meet a girl that works 12 hours a day in a factory or shop or restaurant, honest toil. Girls that have self respect. You must think you are meeting Mother Theresa?

You cannot justify an act that is illegal and morally wrong.

When you have saved up your cash for a year and take your vacation in Hua Hin, do you tell your mate's that you intend to spend your time with a prostitute or do you tell a porky and say she work's in a shop?

Always wanted to know how guy's justify these action's, do you send money over?

BEERBELLY: Final warning, these discussions have a place, and they're not here. Though I doubt very much you'll be around long enough to gain the requirements to get into the area where you can discuss what seems to be a favorite topic of yours.

Sorry, guys... enough of this off-topic stuff.

Beerbelly, Nightstalker after reading both of your last posts on the subject perhaps I suggest a holiday miles away from Thailand as you both obviously seem to not enjoy it here.

Beerbelly seems to not like the ladies here and Nightstalker the price of beer. Perhaps a holiday in Mykinos for you Beerbelly, and Nightstalker where would you go, anywhere where beer is cheeper that $2-3 per bottle, not a lot of choices for you.
I am sure there is somewhere on this planet you would both enjoy.

Anyway, what anyone does when they go on holiday or at any other time with their own cash is a personal choice, and should not be judged by any other person (whoever they maybee).

Beerbelly you have a personal choice, if you dont like it dont come. But do not get on your soapbox and judge people who choose to do what they want to.

Only thing I can think of, is Beerbelly is talking through his pocket. If so that is just bad luck, get on with life and treat it as an experience.
Do not try and take out your anger on people who are smart enough for it not to happen to.

I think the Mai Thai bar in the street by the hilton has a sort of Beer Garden from memory, JW's also I think, but most open bars have roof to protect you from the heat of the day and also protect the bar fittings when it rains so hard.

Also when I was there last year and year before, Mai Thai bar always had happy hour/couple of hrs with draught chang for 35/40baht a glass. Always used to hide the sign, but my gf spotted it one day, so we had to attend every day after that.

Must admit in the heat of the day is good now that Crawfords are there now, can pop in out of the heat and cool down for a bit with a nice cool pint.

Used to have loads of happy hours here in Australia but then all the do gooders (someone invented responsible drinking) got involved, and now most venues are not allowed by law to serve on that basis.
Used to get $1 drink nights (spirits and beers) or 2 for the price of 1. Perhaps that is why you do not see so much of that sort of thing in Hua Hin.

Still loads in Phuket, Phi Phi, Samui, but as Hua Hin is more and more being marketed as a family resort, perhaps that is why that sort of thing is not encouraged.

The Beer Garden in BKK also has a roof, has a great selection of beers, drink and food.

JW's does not have a Beer Garden. The Mai Thai has an open area.

Suggest you make your comment's when in Hua Hin, you have either forgotten or thing's have changed.
