Not surprised

Guess it's the infamous Buffalo Bills latest venture

Over the past 5 years I have eaten there twice and the food, service and management were crap

Steer clear. It's strictly for dumb tourists

To be fair opening a new place is always hard work, teething troubles in the kitchen etc staff issues. Haven't been in yet but they have tried something new, it does look like a nice place. Prices are not going to be cheap, the rent and refit must have been a fair chunk.

Ye Olde Buffalo Tavern

Post by (buffalo) Bill »

Hello, the infamous Buffalo Bill here.

We have just opened a new pub, on the sit of the old Fisherman’s Wharf after 5 months of renovations and plenty of head aches, but we seem to running a bit smoother now.

Thank you JW, who ever you are for the words of encouragement, you said.
To be fair opening a new place is always hard work, teething troubles in the kitchen etc staff issues. (You were also correct in saying the renovations cost a lot).

BUT, Khun Richard of Yorkshire (Halifax) (also known as the 'Issan Farang') You said,

Not surprised, Guess it's the infamous Buffalo Bills latest venture. Over the past 5 years I have eaten there twice and the food, service and management were crap, Steer clear. It's strictly for dumb tourists.
Have I upset you in some way in the past? If so come down and let me know HOW. We shall see if we can make a mends, the management is or was crap, was a bit personal though!

Let’s see if we can start a fresh. Come down to the all new Buffalo Tavern, and I’ll buy you a beer we have very pricy imported John Smith Bitter and Draft Strongbow and coming soon Stella and Hoggarten on tap and I promise the service will be better.

Bill,

Ps. what on earth is an Issan Farang?

PPs. Nightstalker if you come back we made a mistake with your bill you owe us 20 Baht as the coke in our air-conditioned beautifully furnished 5 flat screened pub is 50 Baht ha ha ha ha never mind, doubt we’ll see you again either.

But like the Issan Farang come down and either me or Tom our new manager will buy you a drink, just tell him you are the “Nightstalkerâ€

Well, can I be the first to say, that that was very decent of you, Bill.

In my opinion Hua Hin would be a much better place for everyone, if all the businessmen in town reacted in that way to criticism. :thumb:

Back in HH late December - I'll be sure to check out the new place (obviously on Richards recommendation  )
