Hua Hin to Phnom Penh

Post by marsh »

Hi There People,

I hope I'm at the right area for this post----

Is there any way I can travel from HH to PP (by air if possible) or do I
need to return to Bangkok for this trip?

Thanks Marshy

As far as I know, HH airport only has flights to Bangkok. If you were going by road or rail, you'd have to go via Bangkok anyway.

If you have the money you might be able to charter a plane from Hua Hin but I know nothing about how that can be arranged. Otherwise, see above.

----Bangkok----------Hua Hin by air---------------

Hi lads,
Thanks for the replies, so pray tell, are there flights to and from Hua Hin
from Bangkok? The other mention of this is somewhat sketchy, is there
a timetable somewhere and who is the carrier?

Thanks for any info--------Marshy

Go to BKK via surface transport, HH airport is hardly 'international'.
Fly Air Asia BKK-PP return for under 3000 baht if you book ahead on-line.
You can also get an e-visa for Cambodia on-line so you don't have to queue for up to an hour to get an entry visa. Just googling Cambodia e-visa should do it.

Depending on your time schedule it might be preferable to fly from PP.

My wife and I travelled up by boat - not the best of journeys (she is Thai and is not a good traveller).

Decided on way back to fly.

Really up to you how you like to travel, meet people cost etc.

We are not responsible for third party websites, you can book that hotel direct through our page here which happens to be virus free:

Also if you get the e-visa they just put a small stamp in your passport if you go through the regular way they paste a big sticker that will take up a whole page in your passport.

A bit harsh, Marsh. You want admin to check out every link posted on this site for viruses?

And 'get a life, dude'...?

A bit over the top, my friend.

Besides, if Lev got another life, you wouldn't have a website to refer to.

Marshy,
I really am not trying to be funny here, but what was the nature of this virus, or how did you know that the hotel's website sent a virus to your PC? I am assuming that your anti-virus software came up with some sort of warning, but is it possible that it wasn't warning you of a virus but something else? I can't test this as I use a Mac but I think it would be useful if you could give more detail of what actually happened, as well as heeding Lev's advice, that if you want to book the hotel you do not have to go to the website causing a problem as there is a booking form on the HHAD page link already given. If that page (not the hotel link page on that page) is giving you a problem then I would politely suggest that there is something wrong with either your browser or anti virus software, but only more detail from you can reveal that. I am sure the hotel would also want to know more detail so they can put it right if the problem is not your computer. Just trying to help...
