Try looking at Index. They are on the main road petchamin road coming toward town from Cha Aam. Go into any search engine and type in
Index Living Mall in Thailand and you will see what they have to offer.
We don't move out until January and we will be going there to check out what they have. Pro Store sometimes have good offers on electrical as do Tesco Lotus. Good Luck and let us know how you get on..

Mai at ThaiWood sells from stock and will custom order Thai-style wood furniture. She also sells British-made mattresses for well under the Homepro/Index price. I bought lots of stuff from her and she was a pleasure to deal with.
Her showroom is opposite the royal palace (directly opposite the 2nd large portrait of His Majesty going north) on Phtechkasem Road. She also has a shop at the corner of Dechanuchit and Naresdamri Road (check the HHAD city map).

Probably too late with this reply but here goes. We looked everywhere for furniture and the last place we looked was Siam Old Teak. We ended up buying everything from them. Highly recommended. As an earlier poster said, they might be pricey by Thai standards but you get the feeling that the furniture will last forever.
A fool and his money are soon partying!
same as previous post. We thought we'd just get a couple of bits from Siam Old Teak but ended up buying all from there - it will be around long after I'm gone. You always pay a bit more for quality but its worth it. Can wait a few weeks for some items especially if its cusutom made to your sizes and specificatons but definately recommend the place.
Siam Old Teak's address is: 325 Moo 1, Thaptai, Hua Hin, Prachaub Khiri Khan. Phone #s Show House 66 (0) 32575040 Mobile 08 51759662 and 0833122116. Their email is siam_oldteak@hotmai.com
I know how to get there but not the street names. If you follow the signs to the Elephant Village it will get started in the right direction. Then it is sign posted for Siam Old Teak the rest of the way. It is a bit out of the way but well worth the trip.
