Baja Tacos

Post by pfotoguy »

Had a burito at the new place Baja Tacos a couple of doors up from Day Night massage in the night market. Just opened about 2 days ago and I thought it was pretty good.

owners name is Fred.

Being from Calif I love my Mexican food. Give it a try.

BTW I have absolutly no interest in this place.

On the night market road, just over the crossing.

Ate here yesterday, it was really good. Had some take away, a steak burrito and 3 chicken tacos, for a bit under 300 baht, and was very happy with my meal. It's taqueria style where you choose your own ingredients and they make it on the spot. I'm from Cali as well so I'm glad to see more good Mexican food in Thailand. Will definitely go again while I'm still here in Hua Hin. :)

I have a question for all mex food afficionados. What kind of beans go into a Chicken encilada?

There had damn well better not be any beans in my chicken enchilada.

Refried pintos on the side is another matter.

¡Carramba, qué tacos y burritos tan perfectas!

I visited today the Baja Tacos. I can't remember when I've eaten such good burritos and tacos as today.
Everything was muy bueno; fresh, tasty ingredients, good service, nice attitudes. A very good addendum
to HH international cuisine. I'll be a regular, seguro, ese.

It was a trick question  I got in a hassel with the owner of the Baja Cantina because my chicken enchilada was 90% red beans. I insisted there are no beans in a chicken enchi. He insisted otherwise and invited me not to come back. I have taken him up on his invitation. :thumb:

LOL! I predict a rapid demise for an establishment trying to pass off "red bean & chicken enchiladas" as decent Texmex .. or even Bahamex .. expecially with a "don't come back" attitude.

As a matter of fact, I was thinking of trying the place and now .. think not.

Red beans? RED beans? RED BEANS!!??

Maybe he's doing "Louisianamex bean burrito"?

As an afterthought, were they refried .. or just boiled?

And if he doesn't know that Thai's won't eat beans ..
