A stunning mix between John Mayall and Peter Green.
I just happen to love this kind of music and am looking forward to to your visit.
Where and when?
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

Tthanks for the kind words, always great to get positive feed back. Basically I need to fix up a number of gigs to make the trip pay for itself and hoped to make connections thru this forum.

I seemed to have upset Lev for which I apologies but hopefully we can use this as a start and move forwards. If you know any venues that may be interested in us visiting please pass on my website details. My Phone number is 08339 10298.

thanks again

Not at all - we're simply a small forum so there is no need for duplicate posts!

Feel free to post details of your gig in Hua Hin.

Hi Martyn,

Send me a pm with your expected dates and your fee, like your music - big blues fan myself. Would be cool to have you guys play at Johnnie Walkers.

Best

If the music's anything like Peter Green, I'll be there listening to it.

Hepcats visit

Looks like we have a few Bluesmen up there... I like it!!

Eric said the food is too spicy out here and declined, but Fang 'The Thang' takes care of business.

JW has picked up the ball and we are discussing detail. Hopefully we might have something.

So please, Watch this space....

MH

I'll be there, Where ever. Keep us all posted

' Man of the world' and 'black magic woman' please!!!!!

Will remind me of the Marquee club in Wardour street in London

Used to be my regular haunt to see John Mayall, Eric and Peter and the rest including Pink Floyd (My number one band when Syd was in charge)

Oh for the 60's again

The best I could do on a guitar was 'puff the magic dragon' Syd and Eric fell about laughing (in Syds flat) . Guess they were well into acid by then. Maybe I was too!!!

Just to give you guys a little background about the band. The style and material are taken from my 2 years chasing the blues from New Orleons to Chicago but mainly in Memphis, St Louis and Austin, Texas.

We do not do too many of the popular blues numbers such as Road house, cocaine, etc because I figure we are not going to get bookings from around Thailand if we play numbers that local bands play.

We try and concentrate on west coast swing, Delta boogies, Texas shuffles and of course juke joint upbeat blues that preceded rock 'n' roll.

In a nut shell I like to try and keep the spirit of the old Jimmy Rogers saying ' If you ain't dancin' you must have a hole in your soul'.

The Mayal/Green connection is because we are using the same original material, chasing the same grooves and of course...just having good time.

Hope we can meet up and share experiences. As for the 60's... what about the 50's...ha ha

I was lucky enough to get "In The Skies" today and it's playing at the moment.
As said before, if you're playing blues like that I'll be there. You'll notice me as I fall off the bar stool
BTW, I'll still be trying to dance or play air guitar as I hit the deck.
