fach2003,
I can't answer your query, although I think most eyewear is cheaper in Thailand than the UK, as with most things. I have moved this to a more appropriate sub forum as well!

Contact lenses cost a few hundred baht per pair (disposable ones) with solution. Frames and lenses are a fraction of the cost in the UK too.

No idea about the laser treatment but would be interested to find out from anyone that's had it done in Thailand.

Lenses

Buy 'em online. I get mine posted to Saudi Arabia so they should do Thailand. Look at www.postoptics.co.uk in York. They do most brands so yours should be there which you may not be able to get in HH.

Just buy the solution in HH, they have it in Tesco Lotus, Boots etc.

Focus daily ones 450-600 baht a month plus solution .I do not use them myself but know many people in the diving industry that do .Whenever I had students that elected to use lenses rather than a prescription mask I would keep a set in my bcd pocket for them just in case .
