HOTEL/GUESTHOUSE WITH IN ROOM WIFI OR BROADBAND?
Hello everyone. I'm making the move to HH and want to not miss any work days so I require a good reliable guest house/hotel with WIFI in room or broadband. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Well, this place is near to and on the road to Takieb, halfway down a soi to the sea, not the cheapest for a long stay, but excellent none the less and has free, fast, 24 hour in-room access to the internet.

If you want to be in the center then there is the Top Marks Hotel (HHAD sponsor/advertiser) which offers good deals on long term stays and have wireless for free.

Say mai penrai live longer!
How long you staying for?
Why don't you just rent a house with internet connection - if your renting medium/long term the owner will more often than not sort that out for you. Helluva lot cheaper than staying in a hotel too.
ps. book early, there ain't much decent rental accommodation left. I jest you not.

Royal Asia also has free wifi - cheaper option at about 1100, but there is no Wifi in the court wing, so go in the main building. The wifi from the main building is visible from the front rooms of the annexe, but the main problem is that the stairwell is full of mosquitos, because they can't get around to putting gauze over the slotted blocks...
Heebio: I spoke to a number of agents in HH, and all basically told me that getting a short let with internet pre-connected is near to impossible because everyone is worried about being left with a bill for long distance phone calls (!). Yes, beat me too, but the story was pretty consistent. Longer term, of course, you have the contract in your own name.
Cool Relax (restaurant) and Baan Manthana (guest house, 800 bht) also have Wifi. Perhaps there's a place everyone could swap WAP keys...

Guesthouse with in-room wifi
Hello Salesguy,
I just returned from Hua Hin and stayed at a place called The Bee & B. The property had free wi-fi throughout all the rooms, jacuzzi, teak wood bathtubs, original homemade breakfast, etc. It was a quality bed and breakfast, not a cheap guest house, but I don't know how much you were looking to spend. I paid 2,800 for the deluxe room, but I think the rooms start around 1,600 baht.
It is located behind the Grand Hotel, close walking distance to the beach and downtown. They have just four rooms for rent and I think they just opened a few months ago.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Osten
