Petchkasem's a very long road. It stretches from at least BKK (does it go further North, guys?) to waaay down South. Can you give us a little more of an idea? I've never heard of it; is it relatively new?

Lamakam

Probably Lamakam Restaurant, an old standby here in Hua Hun located on the back street near the railroad track out at the southern end of town just before the overpass. ( Name means tamarind)

It is set in a garden. lots of small salas and nooks and crannies, food is very good, the people are nice and we have eaten there often. Their duck patties are famous.

Wear long pants and bring along mosquito spray.

Makam restaurant is on the railway tracks off Petchkasem Road, turn off is Soi 106 (I think).

The food is excellent, as mentioned before, its famous for its "duck salad" but I've found the service is lacking sometimes.

Makarm r/rant is a great place to eat.
Set as a garden-style venue with salas etc,and free range cats brushin'
up against your legs every now n again.
Go under the U-turn bridge south of HH,come back past 'Sport-Villa' and
take the next left. Then just b4 goin' over the railway lines hang a left
down the rail-side till you see the footbridge lit-up.
Be warned...the place gets very full on weekends cos of Bangkonians
who are down here...not sure if closed on Mondays, so the Mrs n I
tend to aim for tues-thurs nights.
The speciality here is the 'duck salad'...actually a big rissolle made
with mushed-up duck,but is well good.....enjoy.
