Superblock/Q-Con Blocks

Post by JimmyGreaves »

Anyone got any experience with building walls using these blocks?

What thickness is recommended for external/internal walls?

A friend built his house with these last year. Apparently they can be delivered from Bangkok in batches of 1000. He used a concrete frame and used them to block the outside walls. They looked to be about three inches thick but I could find out more if you are interested.

Hi Steve

Yes I am very interested especially financial savings because of there insulation properties, did the thai builders find them easy to construct and the initial cost compared to std blocks.

Appreciate it if you could have a word with your friend when it's convienient.

Cheers
