hi all, i just received a comfirmation that hilton is full, so anyone can recommend a hotel that can match hilton in comfort and location?

Can that really be correct? It's still low season and the Hilton is what 250+ rooms? I can see where it may be full for a weekend due to a Thai convention or something but full...full with tourists? Pete

it is full on 19 oct. think it is only full to agents. if you book direct from thm think you can still get a room but there is a lot of price different.

I commented because the same thing happened to me in the September 2004 time frame. I was living in Bangkok at the time and wanted to come down to HH for a 3-4 day stay. Each and every web site (including the Hilton direct site) said that all rooms were fully booked for about a 2-3 week period, even all the suites! No, I didn't call the hotel directly, just went to another hotel. Walked through the Hilton lobby/grounds when there and if they were fully booked, all the guests were in their rooms doing the horizontal hula as they sure were not visible. Something seems fishy. A friend of mine wanted to switch from Blue Wave to Hilton starting this Monday. The travel agency informed her that Hilton was full.

I couldntget into the Hilton anytime from 20-30th August !
