Help! No AC trains between Bangkok and HH .. Need a taxi!

You don't need air con on the train - all the doors and wondows are wide open and the breeze and overhead fans work just fine.

Couldn't agree more Georgy Porgy. This subject has cropped up before and it beats me why people want air con on trains in LOS, for what is a relatively short journey. Mind you its also puzzling that whenever I've got the night train the other way - HH to Bangkok - its aircon and you need a flippin' blanket! :roll:

I think I follow your 'train' of thought there Elem! Scary. Yes thick snow here in Lincolnshire Sunday morning. It would be nice to need aircon again :cheers:

I used aircon for the first few months I lived in Thailand, and have never used it since.
Now all I need is a fan and access to a cold shower every now and again. When I have traveled on aircon trains I cover myself in blankets as it feels too cold...
