faces of Laos

Post by pfotoguy369 »

Wasn't sure where to put this. maybe nowhere.

thought some people might enjoy something a little different.

Faces of Laos

This is more of a pictorial than a Trip report.

I?ve been very fortunate in my life to be able to freely travel and travel with some good friends.

Recently I traveled to Laos and it was a great trip. The only draw back if you can call it that was the weather. It was colder than a witch?s tit in a brass bra to quote my friend, who only brought Tee shirts and shorts as we all did but some of us weenied out and bought jackets.

We went to Vientiane, Vang Vieng, and Luang Prabang. I?ll do a full trip report sometime in the future.

For those of you who are interested I?m using a Fuji S5 Pro with a Nikon 18-200mm VR lens.

This is my Fuji S5 Pro

No Nudes, most of these are Young people, old people, Monks and kids.

This isn?t a face but I had to throw this in. I ordered potato salad and this is what I got.
It?s kind of a ?roll your own? type of deal.

Pfotoguy, Some great shots, especially the kid in the life jacket!! great.
I am about to splash out on a Canon D40 with a 24 - 40mm f2.8 L, and as I now live in N/E Thailand I fully intend to travel across Laos and Cambodia, snapping away like a bastard possesed.
I will prob wait and buy the camera in the pantip plaza as it appears to be about ?150 cheaper at about ?530 (body only)
Have you ever thought about setting up a blog site or something similar to showcase your shots?
I think some of your pics would look cool in black and white, using photoshop to attain this, but thats just my humble opinion.
Well done... :thumb:
