You could try these two bars:

More bar info here:

Girls and bars vary every night, so you'll just have to try your luck.

Hi All, Long time no talk, How are you?
We"re talking about the bar stuff...innit!

The best bar i know is Johnnie Walkers bar, there is no hassle, friendly bar and there is a good farrang food on every Sunday.
Good friendly Wayne and the owner.
Good pool table, good price for drinks,
One thing make me like JW much as I love to play pool and the staff there are very good as set the pool balls up not same many other places, they just looking as you but they dont help you to set the balls up. ok! its free table but JW is free table too.
So come and join us and have some fun, and JW is a best music place, what ever music you like you can just ask and then you will get it!!!
Rock, Pop, Blues, Soul, Motown, Jazz, etc.
I know JW its my friend's bar but i am recomended it anyway as its COOL PLACE TO GO FOR FUN AND DRINK. :thumb:

Cheers

Well thanks all

We had a good time down there even if a bit quiet.

sorry about the little village, one of my friend tell us its a small fishing town, we know now its not.

I think its a perfect place for the older generation as we were a bit bored during the day, will come back when we hit 50.

we could not find the sports bar someone talked about and yet we went all around the main streets of bars.

Thanks.

Sure you are right, we never carry around lap top to check map.

We not happy with one bar in main street, was irish celtic bar as our beers were out of date.

My frend complain to boss and they change but still the same out of date, he said it was cloudy and then we look at date, exp 06/05.

They make us pay even the ones we return and change, we argue but dont want trouble so have to pay,

wont ever use again, can others check as all bottles out of date, maybe they buy cheap from supply.

That's an interesting point. Even here in Pattaya with the massive quantities of beer consumed each day, the "born" date always seems to be about 2 months on bottled Heineken and sometimes 3-4 months on canned Heineken. This is not just in beer bars but in grocery stores and liquor distributors as well. However, when looking at dates on Chang and Singha they are much better, maybe 2-3 weeks. I guess because few Thais buy Heineken and the turnover for Chang and Singha is much better? Anyone have any other ideas? Pete

Thank you for opening eyes,

But i think this bar not on same sois as others as i have now checked map.

why the unfriendly remark i only make comment.

As for date of beers, i think we should all check date on bottle.

Feel cheated by paying for outdate beer and then having pay for this, please someone check same bar and tell if wrong.

Is price cheaper for bar if out date, if so i and friends were cheated.

look to replys soon.

'Perfect place for the older gen-' Are you kidding me? 'will come back when we hit 50' Now you've got to be taking the piss!

Hua Hin has tons of stuff to do in the day! Biking, travelling, beach, kho takiab Cha- Am etc.

These city slickers boys don't know how to groove the 'Hin.

Re not being able to find a sports bar in HH, I was there 8 weeks ago and although I did not find a designated sports bar, nearly every bar I went into had cable TV and were more than happy to show sports at any time of the day (all you have to do is ask to watch, if it is not being shown).

While I was there, there was the F1 motor racing, the British Lions tour of NZ and various pre season football matches and tournaments being shown at various times of the day. Some of the bars were promoting special functions in particular for the F1 and the Lions tour.

I would imagine now that the Premier League is back in action, that most of the bars will be showing all of the games that are available live.

If you also keep getting bad beers in one particular bar, the best way to fix the problem is to not go back to the bar again.
It is not worth arguing about a beer that costs you the equivilant of just over $2.00
