Anybody know where you can get it ?

A friend asked me, I couldn't afford it if it's imported

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

I was in that Mini Farm place nearly opposite the Tessabahn earlier (to get some beers) and I noticed this tub of stuff with the name caviar on it. I'd read the thread earlier.
Went to take a look and it turned out to be caviar taramasalata. Think I've got the name, but probably not the spelling right. Greek.
I know it's not what the OP is looking for, but it's a move in the general direction. I think the price was about 175 Baht.
I won't tell my wife. She can make do with the eggs out of those mud crabs.

taramasalata would be the ken livingstone of the fish egg world, and caviar definately the boris johnson

taramasalata tastes better though, and it's affordable
plus due to it's colour, it actually looks like what it tastes like
