Phones

Post by robby hh »

Another shooting, fortunately only one casualty, a Thai girl who is completely paralised with a bullet lodged in her mobile phone.

A Thai girl arrived at the ENT clinic complaining of acute hearing loss, upon examination it was found the hands free device of her mobile phone had stopped working and that the ear-pieces had been in her ears so long that the ear had grown completely around them necessitating surgical removal.

When the law regarding the use of phones in cars was originally drafted it contained provision for phones to be confiscated upon a second offence. However this was dropped when it was realized that many Thai’s, particularly females, needed a general anesthetic to have their phones removed from their person and after removal the withdrawal symptoms were so severe that they impaired driving. These symptoms could only be alleviated by the return of the phone or the purchase of a new more expensive model.
