The new bar with the thatched roof just by the railway does food too, but we've not eaten there yet. Good bar as well btw.
As I'm living in Bo Fai area, I will have plenty of time to check'm :)

I'd be very interested to hear how you get on?

We went to the new bar just after it opened. Stked up with a bit of Dutch courage after a night in town we thought we'd stop off on the way past and check it out. We were the only farangs there and as we sat down we were asked if we wanted some Heineken? Being polite we said yes..turned out it was the one beer the bar didnt stock so they went to the shop over the road and came back with an armful of large cold bottles
Repeated the whole process several times
They also came to tell us that the kitched was closing and would we like any food before they shut down. Good place.

This place sounds good, found what I think to be the spot on the google map, can you park there?

Will agree with the others that have complemented Mr Burger 3 and 3 Sisters along the canal road - both great little places.

But I preferred Mr Burger 2.

As a place to chill out and read/drink for a couple of hours at late afternoon, maybe watch a bit of telly?! Not a place for 'fine dining' although the food was excellent - so was a big bottle of Leo at 50 baht. :thumb:

It only had 3000 items on the menu whereas No.3 has 5000!

By the entrance to Hua Hin Vill across one of the bridges over the canal.

Just a front of house sort of place.

Loved it!

If you're still talking Khun Oy, then yes, there was a decent sized car park.

Gave it a try last night

Excellent

I was with a German friend and his family. In all 10 of us

Plate loads of food and a few beers and a very good bottle of white wine

The food got demolished and in all the bill was 2200 Baht

I'll be back

We were there too last evening. What a shame Oy and his wife (main cook) were not there so you could have met them.

First time we have ever known them to have a night off together.

Please note that although the bosses were away this had no detrimental effect of the quality of the food or the service.

The boss was there

Met him and he gave me a business card. Had a chat and I pointed him the direction of HHAD

Face matched up on the business card and confirmed by my Thai wife

Oy must have returned after we left - glad you were able to meet him. He and his wife are really nice people.

We have given him a copy of all that has been said about him on HHAD
