Car Dealers in Hua Hin

Post by FishBoy »

Is there a list of car dealers in HH. Seems that Toyota trucks are the ride of choice for those who are will to spring for a new set of wheels.
Am I correct in thinking that your get better service where you buy?

Well I don't think there's enough of them to make a list. Just drive north of town and you should run into them all. Izusu, Honda Toyota. A couple of used car lot's there also.

I found most dealers pretty much have the same price. It's getting the extras thrown in is where you can bargin. We bought at Siam Izusu in BKK, Lat Phrao. Found a much better deal there than in HH. Got 50,000 worth of extras thrown in and they only charged us 12,000 to change the tires. HH was going to give us nothing and charge us 40,000 to change the tires.

Nice friendly service
Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

You will do much better to go to Bangkok.

Service at main dealers afterwards in HH is good from my experience.

If you are looking for Toyota, you'd do well to compare all four dealers: Hua Hin, Cha-Am, Pranburi and Petchaburi.

All of them are on the main road and easy to spot.

I like the look of the new (ish) Mitsubishi warrior. Anyone have one or been in one and care to comment?

Toyota Vios

Post by frankbangkok »

I like the looks of the four door Toyota Vios. I have one in the USA and it is amazingly economical, getting more than 35 miles per gallon - usually nearly 40. There, it is marketed under the name Yaris, but it is not the Yaris one sees in Thailand. It is the same car that is called the Vios here and it is wonderful and economical to buy and operate.

If you are looking for a new Toyota you can get an official pricelist off the Toyota Thailand website. Some of it's in Thai but you can work it out, the big number with bt. after it is the price!
