Viva Espana!

44 years without a trophy is over. A deserved goal and win from a guy who must be rated now as one of the top five strikers in the world.
Englands turn next!

England's record in South Africa against the Dutch is very poor.

They got a seriously mauling by a load of Dutch farmers in the 1890s.

Maybe the very recent win in 1966 may boost their spirits a little.

One advantage England do have is that they have a few Chelsea players on their side.

Anyway back on track. I am still going with Spain. Villa, Torres, Fabrigas awesome
Well done Guess.
Spain turned out to be strong from start to finish, they totally deserved it for me.

Ah yes, I forgot the small matter of qualifying!

I bet 3-1 the tournament won't go ahead in S. Africe for various reasons, not least the stadiums are behind schedule, the increasing 'Zimbabwe-ism' about the place, poverty and violence, oh and having no decent hotels or travel capabilities near to the planned new or upgraded stadiums.

Who's gonna bite?

it is currently under scrutiny by fifa as well as the 2012 euros in poland/ukraine for similar reasons :?
would bet that at least one if not both venues get changed

Hallo There Y'all!!!

well after final match of the EURO 2008 we all know The Winner is El Viva Espana. A warmly la feicitacion to the Spanish Team and their Coach Senor Lius Arragones who put a mixture of young and veteran players which clearly is force to be reconned with in the World Cup Qualifiers and the WC isteslf in 2010.

Well to give some credit to the Country ehrtr I eas born(but I'm not a national of it though,) Ther German side had gone past 15 other Teams only to narrowly miss the EURO 2008 CHampionship TRophy.
This shows what I was talking about after the Game aginst Croatia.
When the preasure to perform is as high as last nights final bout that the german side (exept Ballack who wanted this Title so bad and last night relived a Deja Vu expirience of the Chelsea Man ure side all over again but this tie with the national side) simply cannot cope with preasure as High as this and they cacked as simply as that.
As the german players will mature in the incomming years we will see fewer such breakdowns in their perfomance.

Again Pleas let me Congratulate The Spains on their sounding WIn over them Germans!!!
