There are so many laundry services all over Hua Hin so I think you ought to find a service in your neighbourhood.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

Laundry service

There is an excellent one that we've been using for years on the small soi behind the Post Office. I get there by turning onto the small soi beside Burger King and then a right on the next soi. It's near the opposite end on the left. You can't miss it as there are always clothes drying out front. It can also be accessed from Phetchkasem Rd. headed north by turning directly onto the soi after you pass Bank of Ayudaya and Mimi Farm. Then it is about a hundred meters in on the right.

BTW... they will pick up and deliver as well.

It's harder to find a 7/11 than a laundry! :thumb:

The first place I checked wanted 15 THB to iron one shirt; the second wanted 10 THB, the third 5 THB. Guess which one got my business...

Laundry

Post by frankbangkok »

My problem has been that eventually the little laundry will return a white shirt and off blue through careless washing. I am afraid to have my expensive golf shirts laundred here so i have just been wearing the cheap knock off brands from the local night market. However, I was wondering if anyone knows of a truly professional laundry service in Hua Hin, outside the major hotels?

I feel your pain - laundry hasn't been done in time, the shop is closed or moved to Chiang Rai, the stuff is not clean, shirts are torn or missing, socks of other people aso. I got myself a washing machine, 6.5kg, 6000 THB, fully automatic, I just throw the laundry in, wait 50, 60, 75 minutes depending on the program and let my daughter hang it all up to dry. Should have my investment back in a year. - Of course, if you don't live here permanently it is not wise to get a machine, or a daughter.
