Amusing Typos

Post by malcolminthemiddle »

Came across this ad advertising a town house in HH
The property is ideal for an average looking family who are looking for a house in a gold location. ...
Any else have any other similar amusing typos?

Every time I am visiting, I am amazed at the number of typos everywhere -local "English" papers/magazines, flyers, posters, not to mention the- always- hilarious menus!! Why can' t they get it right??

I will never forget the the two old ladies on a ferry in BKK wearing identical long t-shits with the text " CUM HERE" + arrow... (is that a typo???? my Enlsih not so good!)

Not a 'typo' as such, but what an amusing way to say 'Fill up the bucket'

From another thread from some years ago. This is what I wrote then:
Went to eat to the Khao Tom place in the corner of Amnuaysin and Srasong roads yesterday. The menu there included thumbs up

Roasted stuck shell
Stir species of creeper
Chopped chicken
Bean cord
Sweet and with fish
Parhted Pork
Parched Shrimp Salad

No typo, but i had to take a picture of the big warning sign (all inclusive with flashing light) at the Night Market zebra crossing.

I don't know if its something regular in Thailand, i only noticed this one in HH.

The "giant white peneus" from the La Mer menu may also not be a typo (I hope ! ) .

One of my all time favourites is this one from Chiang Rai, more for the image it creates in my head of anyone visiting...
