This car looks like a lot of fun, I'd love to have a go, but only on a track though, I can see the survival time, of anyone driving this on the road as a matter of weeks or months.

This is Crazy, look out for Clarkson's jowels, not a pretty sight.

It has broken the 0 - 60 world record for a production made car - 2.9 seconds!

I’ve seen one of these Atoms on the road in Luxembourg and it looks crazy, sort of like a cross between a 1970’s formula one car and something from a mad max movie.
At the time I thought it was a kit car and I didn’t realize just how powerful the thing was, it was just passing through the city at a normal driving pace.

Well, I've just watched a few of the YouTube videos, and I WANT ONE!! (The 'pulling away from the lights' clip is great, especially if you wait for the 2nd set of lights.) Unfortunately, I think it would be fine between HH and Cha-am, but anywhere else it might conceivably have a few serious problems with potholes...

I miss TG, is BBC World not showing it any more?

But couldn't hold it for long. The atom C will be much more difficult to catch at 600 BHP.

This is the mutts nutts even if it is a little more pricey. Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron 253mph+, 0-62mph 2.5 secs

The real fastest street legal car is a Vauxhall Victor and there's a Vauxhall Calibra not far behind. Both 0 - 60 in 1 second.
