Well if nowt else I now know -

1) why screens are measured diagonally

2) that men CAN sometimes come out with the same dippy questions usually attributed to women

3) that a protractor is used for measuring dangly things (and not just the height of school chimneys)

4)That my 15 inch screen is actually 15.45 (you CAN get value for money at Comet!)

5) And that this whole sorry episode is not to be mentioned in the Observer.................................................................................
