Berbatov - Let Him Rot In The Reserves!
This ain't gonna happen, but I would hope that it would.
Just hope spurs hold out for 30 million, if they can afford to. About time players showed some loyalty!

I agree - especially for tomorrows game at the Bridge!!!JimmyGreaves wrote:This ain't gonna happen, but I would hope that it would.

Bet it gets done tomorrow, not beating Chelsea we save that for important matches like cup finals and relegating them, but Berbs to Man U.
They've offered 20.5M, we want 30M (read 25M), they've just sold Saha so my bet is it will get done before deadline.
Responsible chairman/directors employed to protect the best interests of the company, prepared to let their biggest asset rot in the reserves?? Let's hope not.
Fellow Spurs fans have no right to begrudge a player too good for us to join the biggest club in the country. We're a mediocre club don't forget.

Your F***ing joking aren't ya, he's not too good for spurs, he's a liability even when the odd time he was on song he went into sulks, that's b4 Man U wanted him.Super Joe wrote: Fellow Spurs fans have no right to begrudge a player too good for us to join the biggest club in the country. Mediocre. Yes and that's how we'll remain until we or lower ranked clubs make a stand. 2 years left on his contract. As I said it would be good to let him stew.
You might as well create a league of 4-6 clubs in the UK or better still create a european league and have the top 3-4 from each country compete.

Yes he sulks sometimes, but 2 minutes later he picks the ball up and scores for us.JimmyGreaves wrote:Your F***ing joking aren't ya, he's not too good for spurs, he's a liability even when the odd time he was on song he went into sulks
He's our most prolific striker for 10 years since Klinsmann, and before that 16 years ago to Lineker, scores in 46% of matches played. The most valuable player in the clubs history.
Good enough for Ferguson to offer 20.5M but not good enough for Spurs fans Hmmm, we'll have to agree to disagree on that one.
When I say too good for us I mean based on his quality and scoring he was always going to go to a top club challenging for leagues and champion leagues.

Yup, well done Spurs although Chelsea should have had it wrapped by half-time.
Hopefully, Scolari will learn not to sell players that can make a difference when change is needed whilst keeping crap like Malouda, God only knows what he does in training 'cos I can't remember the last time he played well for Chelsea. Cole needs to be wide, Anelka anywhere but on the pitch and Deco removed after 70 minutes at the latest.
I still think we'll win the league, but today wasn't good enough.
By the by, when will Ramos learn any English?
