I blame the captain
Anyways, best of luck for Round 2 guys - unfortunately it looks like Randy may be struggling this round....... just over an hour to go until the first game and no picks made - uh oh.

Maybe not so unfortunate, he's got 2 pts by default  . . . :cuss:

Good result for Canada :thumb:
Didn't see the game & can't confess to seeing much Canadian rugby, but Tonga looked a half decent side v the All Blacks, so a good win

I'd expect no less from a Wendyball supporter and a follower of Beelzebub's XV  :D

Could be an idea to forget to pick....... must try that with IKTS!! :banghead:

At the end of the day Canada deserved to win - very good game to watch with 2 fairly evenly placed teams both going for the win big style. At the end of the day, Tonga's handling (and a little lack of nouse) let them down.

So.... Congrats to Samoa and Canada, commiserations to Tonga and Namibia

HT Scotland 9 vs 3 Georgia

Totally agree & it wasn't meant to be a slight on the performance, more an observation. :thumb:

Well, Randy and failed to score a point for the russia v usa game.

Today in Oz it is .

"Are you OK day."

Randy, I have never met you but I know you love your footy.

It is unusual that you would forget to put your tips in for the second round and I hope everything is OK.

Yes, it looks like Ireland v Wales and Sth Africa v Australia for the knock-out - interesting!

As usual, when I want to watch the rugby I lose the internet. It came on just in time for the last 15 minutes, and judging from that and the 2nd half highlights, Ireland were well worth the win and could have won by more.

Well done, lads.
It just goes to show that form leading up to the competition doesn't count for much.

I was sorry to see the Japs get hammered by the AB, but I suppose something like that was bound to happen.

England v Georgia tomorrow. The only question should be how many can England score...

No, never good to see a hammering like that handed out to Japan - doesn't do any good for rugby IMHO. Some say it's good experience, but what good can come from being on the wrong end of a 13 try drubbing.... :(

Can't see the England vs Georgia game being much better - it'll be a lot closer, but Georgia will be on the wrong end of a few tries.....

The game tomorrow will be Samoa vs Wales...... one which I have to say I'm a little nervous about!! Wales should win fairly well, but then again they should have done so in the 3 previous defeats to the islanders!!! Admittedly it's a far better and fitter Welsh side than I've seen in a long time, but you can never take anything for granted with Samoa, and this is probably the best side they've ever had.

Come on the Taffs!!

Can't say how proud I am of the Irish team, we all new they had a good game in them as they have a very very experienced side. Also good (Don't count my chickens 'Italy') that we will miss the southern hemisphere sides for a while if we top the group :D That's if Wales beat Samoa :D

Anyway what a great Saturday afternoon, now celebration time
