Have used Villa for lunch for the past week, salads are great - had smoked salmon, prawn (105 baht) - and love the cooked chickens - mexican, new orleans and garlic - 130 baht and bloody lovely. Its cheaper to buy your own obviously but for ease and quality its great.

I think (and I am not reading the whole thread again) that the tangent went off because Chas quite rightfully criticized someone who took a dig at Understudies written English.
Guess, it isn't that I criticized anybody, it is more that I took offense at an unwarranted put down of a friend who was writing on topic here and who is further an enthusiastic contributer to this online community. I tried to set the record straight by explaining a bit about him and by cautioning all of us to be a bit more patient with folks who may have other languages in their heads. End of story. Why we got into the reversal of letters in English words and all that stuff is beyond me.

I beg your pardon.

What I meant was that it was that point when it went off on a tangent. I did not mean to be negative. I agreed with your post anyway.

Perhaps highlighted or pointed out is more accurate than criticized.

That is what I was trying to say.

No problem

No problem guess!
We probably both agree that the whole grammar discussion would have been better on its own thread and the focus of this thread stayed on Villa Market.

No, slightly north of the Grand. Corner of soi 84

Could be I guess Guess. But more likely closer to San Paolo where I think there was derelict land behind hoardings one time. Anyway - we're in the ballpark!
