Where Can I Buy Pest Control Chemicals for My Garden

Yeah, if you look at some of the men who spray that stuff for a living, they look like walking zombies. 8-10 hours a day of it and some don't even wear a paper mask. We have one responsible vendor who refuses to spray our trees for caterpillars if even the slightest breeze is blowing. He openly says, "this stuff will kill people as well as bugs....". I'm sure the average person here can openly buy chemicals and sprays that are high on the restricted lists elsewhere. You also have to worry if you have any pets. Some of those chemicals last for weeks on everything it touches. Pete

I for one don't use any chemicals on the property, but if you need them, there's a small shop just down from the railway line crossing near G market. If you cross the line and head towards Petchasem Rd, the shop is about halfway down, on the right hand side. They usually have bags of dog food on display outside the shop, but their primary concern is fertilizers and virtually any type of garden related chemical you can think of. When I've asked in the past, they said I can buy anything in the shop, so it appears these chemicals are not strictly controlled


Like I say, I don't use any type of chemicals, not even for termites, but I have been tempted to buy the stuff you spray to control the mossies.

If you do buy, just be damn careful, particularly if you have kids.

They have special fertilizers for each type of plant like one just for palm trees, on just for bougainvillea bushes, etc., and they have organic lawn fertilizer that is safer and works better than the chemical ones (more expensive though).
