I drove that route to Dolphin Bay yesterday morning between 9 and 10 a.m. returning in the afternoon between 1 and 2 p.m. and I did not see any police. What time did you see them?[/quote]
It was about 3 p.m.

Re: Sabotage threat 'in the next 20 days'
look at a map of Thailand - most of its coast is infacing to the gulf.
1) Now...if you are coming in from Cambodia WHY would you sail across the gulf, potentially being easily spotted by the Thai navy radar and fleets of Thai squid boats, when theres a few hundred miles of poorly patrolled and easily crossed land border to use instead?
2) Given the onging "troubles" down south theres more military south of here than north. So...why land insurgents in an area stacked with military rather than in a place full of rice paddies a convenient few miles across dry land, which is easier to transport supplies across?
3) PKK itself is stacked full of military bases sited here because HM The King lives there. There are boats patrolling the coast, army navy and airforce bases everywhere. Buriram, Surin et al is mostly scrubland, forest and paddies full of illicit crossing routes regularly used by traders, drug smugglers and people who just cant be arsed dealing with the border checkpoints.
See...doesnt make sense does it?
So where do we file this....
under I for intelligence ....
or B for bollocks?
C'mon guys.... especially if youve lived here a while you should know better than to fall for the headless chicken shell game the so called intell services here play.
Heres a thought...noticed how its military budget submitting time?
