The welsh defence were awsome and we really didn't have any answer to it, In our faces all the time and so fit compared to our ageing team. Fairwell ROG, I really think Kidney got that part of the selection wrong.

Well done Wales excellent performance, Hope you've got 2 more in ya!

:cuss:
Seriously great game - our defense was indeed spot on. The Irish pack and backs were top class as normal. BOD and co will leave the game with heads held high - huge respect and quite frankly should not have been the QF match...... Ireland could have gone further, Wales will!!!!

I agree about Flood. I think Johnson has reached the end of the road. He was appointed as coach with a great fanfare that he was a winner, well maybe so as a player but as a coach he puts too much emphasis on forward play with no flair outside to take advantage of it. Unlike other top sides how often did we see the backs taking the ball (when they didn`t drop it) standing still.
Good luck to Wales, I hope you win.

Perhaps a little sh*tfaced after the Irish game, but IMHO France beat the English in the back-row and nutralised Tuilagi .... game over - a little sad quite frankly for a team of England's caliber.

Not so sure it's Johnson who should be going, although his head must be on the chopping block. Moody has IMO stuffed things up on a bigger scale - penalties at the breakdown, zero control....... France took the piss out of the back-row today.

England were far from good, and France not a great deal better. Biased I know, but I don't believe Wales will be sweating.

The possibility of meeting the Blackness in the final however does get me reaching for the bog roll - which I will add is already in the fridge in case of prior spices............

P.S. Wasted bet of a fiver with Wales making the final? Got good odds!!

Let's not beat about the bush mate, England were shite.
France just made good use of the countless errors (mostly unforced :? ) & the complete disarray in the English team :|
It was embarrassing at times & painful to watch :(

Maybe the french will be buoyed by this win, but if they are to progress to the final, they'll have to up their game big time.
Just can't see it myself :|

Different class the blackness & i don't think they've even got out of third gear yet

You've got to be in it to win it though  :thumb:

Cracking game, real nail-biting stuff and a huge defensive effort from Australia

2 SA tries disallowed due to forward passes........ rightly so, but I've seen far more obvious forward passes let go.

Big, Big game. Congrats to Australia, commiserations to the Bokke

Well, the way the Argies are spoiling the best team in the world, England must have been playing out of their skins in their first match.

[Edit] Where would the best team in the world be if they had Johnny Wilkinson? They'd be 10 points down now.

Fair game in the end, 33 vs 10 to the Blackness...... and possibly a little flattering.

Argentina certainly slowed NZ's ball...... unfortunately mostly illegally - hence the penalty count (and yellow card) against them.

NZ looked a little out of sorts, certainly not as fluid as they normally are - problems at Fly half ??

Argentina - massive defense, 135 tackles vs 50 odd from NZ.

Lapping up these games now. Terrific entertainment. On the edge of my seat to see if Steyn would drop a goal to give SA the victory they deserved. Never got the chance. Giant defence from the Aussies. England couldn't catch a cold. Argies can be proud. Wales superb. How many kickers do the Kiwis have?!!
