CBR 600RR is not the best bike for BKK and if you find it's a pain in the arse to ride 200 km on the highway, I wonder why you chose it. It will probably be a nice second-hand bike with little mileage when you sell it...Thaitats wrote:Hi all
I'll be up for a run in the future but my bike is in BKK, I did ride if down here once but it's a pain in the ar$e (literally) and nowhere near as comfortable as my Beemer. I got a lovely 09 CBR 600RR. It's a great bike and a real head turner because there's not many in the country. When any Thai asks about it, ( I'm sure you all know what the 1st question is) it's, "how much is it?" I find that annoying, so I'll give a stupid answer of either ฿20k (their eyes light up) or ฿1Mill and they just want to touch it, lol.
So when I bring it back down here I'll be up for a ride sometime.
Thanks GG. I thought this might be the answer given, but I could't stop "dreaming" of the good ol' days when I had adequate HP.Ginjaninja wrote:SunandFun, I think your wee 150 would struggle to keep up with the bigger bikes. Visit the new Ducati shop and treat yourself to an upgrade....![]()
