Are they still pushing Sinococktails or is anything else available? The mrs still hasn't had her first.
From Hua Hin Hospital page today:

No, they're not pushing Sino cocktails any more. Your Mrs could now register on Mor Prachuab Phrom for the AZ/Pfizer cocktail.

I've just been boosted here in the UK, with Pfizer, which apparently is standard here after 2 x AZ. I've never had a reaction to a vaccine, so I'm not expecting one now (which in any case I believe to be the best attitude!). I've had the flu jab as well, so hopefully that's me sorted for the winter.

Question. If you are native Thai, living in Hua Hin, what vaccines would you receive for free, provided by govt? Where would you get and how long would it take? I have tried to find but cannot (I am not in HH presently). Google is not my friend and I tried to scroll to find in this forum. I am getting different answers from people. If anyone knows, thank you!

The Mrs has gone for her first today under the MPP v2 scheme, told her to get there early as the queues are likely to be horrendous.

Wow! That was quick after posting about it only 3 days ago.

Yep, low population area - plus most have already had the Sinococktail, she was number 47 when she registered on the 13th.

I spoke too soon with regard to the reaction... I developed a sick headache on Saturday that proved impossible to get rid of for 48 hours, accompanied by insomnia for 2 nights. I don't sleep well at the best of times, but my usual 3-hour naps became 30-minute semi-snoozes. All accompanied, less importantly, by a complete loss of appetite (and sense of humour...). Three days during which not a drop of alcohol has passed my lips.
Anyway, everything seems to be back to normal now, touch wood.

Even the sense of humour?

I'm not that surprised, there can't be that many left now of those who want vaccine, but haven't been vaccinated. Before they threw kids into the equation, Hua Hin was just about done, and the rest of the province wasn't that far behind.
Of those who want vaccine, I only know 2 people who haven't been jabbed now. They are still awaiting a response from Expatvac. I've told them to just walk into Bluport at 12 today, but they insist on waiting for Expatvac - FFS they haven't even had confirmation from Expatvac that their registrations were accepted.
