She was shown wearing them in some of the earlier flood photos (real or knockoffs) and caught so much grief over it that now she's wearing the regular red or black ones in later photos.

According to PT, the Governor is to be blamed for the mismanagement of the floods.
As I understand it, the actual control of water is the responsibility of the Governor and the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority and relieve efforts are the responsibility of the Government.

No problems. I applaud the Thais for keeping their sense of humor with those cartoons through all of this. You need to laugh or go insane I guess. One thing for sure, the word "Mamba" has caught on in a big way. I expect Thai songs, a new dance and a cocktail of the same name in due course. Pete

Mamba Beer has a ring to it also. The label with a green mamba for the regular, and a black mamba for the stout. It may already exist in the Congo or similar. Pete
