Portsmouth won the FA Cup in 2008,now struggling in the 4th tier of English football,but still get around 15,000 fans watching them.
Stockport County were in the Championship around a dozen years ago but are now in the Conference North.2,500 still watch their home matches,though.
Liverpool.....24 years without winning the league title.......soon to be 25 ? 40,000 faithful and still one of the most popular teams worldwide.

Believe me when you have waited 45 years, most of that time in the shadow of utd across town, you really don't care how you win it!! Also has there ever been a more dramatic end to a Football season - it was pure theatre...

And strangely enough I would be very happy to do it again this season...........CITD

.Yes, in 1989 when Arsenal beat a previously unbeaten Liverpool at Anfield 2 nil. They finished with the same points, same goal difference and won on goals scored, the 2 goals being the difference. Oh, and the second goal was scored with a minute to go.
