1 up 2 down

Post by bill »

2 down first. city beach breakfest. don't go. used to go 2001-2 and was ok for 180 baht. now a pan of pressed ham, soupy eggs, no taters or bacon. 220baht. forget it. pizza-pizza. new joint by village market. tried pizza and it was as close to an out of body experince as one could have, but in the mouth. i knew i was eating food but damned if i could taste anything. nothing. no taste no go. 1up. went here when it first opened, slizzler's at shopping mall. bad news for eats then. went recently and what a pleasent suprise. the salad bar has got to be the best for it's price in town. 180baht includes beef, fish or chicken plus taters[baked or french]. i bag the beef and taters cause i'am filled up on salad bar, plus soup, pasta and pudding. salad bar has 2 sides, 1 with salad and dressings and mucho else, 2 side maybe 12-14 different things, like chicken in salad mix[excellent], pasta and shrimp in asian dressing and......alot of good stuff. try it you'll like it. bone appite or whatever the french say.

slizzler's upstairs in the shopping mall. Best value salad in Hua Hin by a long way. More value than a used pair of Cheryl Coles under crackers. You owe it to yourself to give it a go... :D
